Bend, Ore. — LS Networks is proud to partner with Bend’s Campfire Hotel to supply fast, reliable fiber internet to Mt. Bachelor seasonal staff. We are supplying the hotel with 1 Gigabit symmetrical fiber internet connectivity as part of our mission to connect people to what matters most. By providing symmetrical fiber internet, LS Networks is giving these employees ample bandwidth to stay connected to their family and friends through the holiday season.
This partnership was created after Mt. Bachelor and the Campfire Hotel announced their collaboration in an effort to provide affordable winter housing to staff. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the average median gross cost of rent from 2018-2022 was $1,649.
Up to 52 Mt. Bachelor seasonal employees can find a subsidized home in one of the rooms at the Campfire Hotel. To secure housing, staff must apply for a single or double-occupancy room from now through April 2024 and must be a full-time employee of Mt. Bachelor.
As seasonal guests at the Campfire Hotel, staff will be able to enjoy all the amenities the hotel offers, including free Wi-Fi. LS Networks will power the entire hotel’s technology infrastructure. That means not only will hotel employees be able to get their jobs done more efficiently, but also guests will be able to watch their favorite shows without lag, game online, browse the internet from their devices swiftly, and video call their loved ones without the call dropping.
