LS Networks engineering team collaborated with The Medford Radiology Group on the design of a custom-built, high-capacity network, increasing the organization’s network bandwidth, performance and security capabilities.
With help from the Federal E-Rate Program, LS Networks was able to build a custom fiber network and provide 1-gigabit services to rural schools in the Columbia Gorge Education Service District. The bandwidth and connectivity now allows schools to access e-learning tools, stream videos and administer state-mandated online tests.
For years, DFN operated with an end-consumer provider system relying on multiple backbone providers. With growing demand for high-speed internet services, DFN sought a new approach. By consolidating to a single vendor, LS Networks, DFN found a way to transform connectivity with greater redundancy and lower cost.
It was once normal to reset the router every week or need to walk away and grab lunch when the system needed to sync to Dropbox. Now, downtown Yakima has high-speed internet for the first time, offering reliable, secure connections.
Greater Oregon Behavioral Health Inc. (GOBHI) is a nonprofit managed care organization serving roughly 100,000 people in 16 Oregon counties. Thanks to a partnership with LS Networks and a $436,506 Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant, GOBHI is providing enhanced videoconferencing services to patients across the state.
